Fellowship Training

Retina Associates of Kentucky is proud to offer an excellent post-residency two year fellowship in diseases of the retina and vitreous. This is a joint fellowship offered in conjunction with the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky.

Fellows alternate three months at our practice with three months at the University. While at our practice, fellows spend up to 70% of their time in the operating room learning vitreoretinal surgery. The other time is spent in clinic. Didactic experience includes a monthly fellow conference, and weekly fluorescein conference and Grand Rounds at the University.

Previously trained fellows have obtained positions in both academic and private practices throughout the United States.

Please apply to our fellowship through the University.
